In 2011, the following rule will be adhered to so we encourage everyone to plan accordingly. Purchase or renew your membership in advance of any NBHA race if you want the race to count as a qualifier, not after the fact. If you purchase your membership but do not receive a membership card in the mail, it is YOUR responsibility to contact Natl's to make sure your membership arrived.
Every person wishing to enter the State Finals must compete at 3 NBHA MT sanction or co-sanction barrel races as a member during the 2011 NBHA MT season (Oct 2010- Oct 2011) and be a current member in good standing in order to enter the Mt State Championships. Do not wait until the last minute before the 2011 MT Finals to check your qualifications. Your race qualification status is updated shortly following every NBHA race.
Only NBHA sanction or co-sanction races count. Races advertised as "using NBHA Format" or "following NBHA rules" may not be qualifiers.

2011 Montana State NBHA Top Dog Championships
Dogs will initially compete in 2 divisions - large and small. Then the winning dogs will race against each other for designation of TOP DOG. Overall winner will be awarded a trophy buckle sponsored by
BEST INSURANCE. Runner up will receive a gift certificate for a beaded dog collar sponsored by
